Welcome to First Presbyterian Church
Kenosha, Wisconsin

A Church for Our Community and the World

First Presbyterian Church has a long commitment to the Kenosha community. From the very beginning, we have been active in seeking ways to serve the people of Kenosha and share the love of Jesus Christ with every neighbor. Through community outreach programs and money we use to support other local ministries, we are committed to making Kenosha an even better place to live. But our commitment does not stop at the city lines. We support ministries throughout the area, nation and world. We take seriously the call of Jesus to “be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

We hope you will join us on this journey.

PASTOR’S WELCOME

Welcome! I am glad you found our website in your search for a worship community. I hope we can answer enough questions for you to feel comfortable when you come to the church, but leave room for your curiosity to bring you to church to find out what’s going on here at First Presbyterian.

This congregation is full of passion for serving Christ. Whether it is participation in worship, serving others at the soup kitchen or on youth mission trips, or in our fellowship events like coffee hour or the annual winter Luau, this is a congregation that loves God and each other. I feel very privileged to lead this congregation in worship and service, but it is the people of this congregation that do the hard work loving God through loving others in so many different ways.

I truly hope you will come check us out. I think you will find a lively, laidback, fun-loving, and warm congregation waiting to welcome you to worship.

Blessings and peace in your life,
Lance Loveall

LIVING IN FELLOWSHIP

“In gratitude to God, empowered by the Spirit, we strive to serve Christ in our daily tasks and to live holy and joyful lives, even as we watch for God’s new heaven and new earth praying, ‘Come, Lord Jesus.’” —From “A Brief Statement of Faith”
